The District publishes no official settlement-agreement form. Both spouses sign the PublicLegal-authored Marital Settlement Agreement before a notary, and on the Complaint (paragraphs 5 and 6) you can ask the court to include the agreement in the court's order, which makes it enforceable later through the Family Court. Signing the agreement does not divorce you — the court enters the Judgment of Absolute Divorce.
