The District of Columbia organizes a domestic LLC with official Form DLC-1, Articles of Organization for Domestic Limited Liability Company, revised September 2023. Pay the $99 state fee separately, whether you file online through BOSS or by mail.
Online filings run through BOSS, the District’s business portal. A mail filing goes to the DLCP Corporations Division with the EX-2 mail-in cover letter and a check or money order payable to the DC Treasurer. A professional LLC uses the same DLC-1 blank with a PLLC name designator.
