The requirements for naming an LLC within the state are set forth in O.C.G.A. § 14-11-207. The name of the LLC must contain the words "limited liability company" or "limited company" or the abbreviation "L.L.C.", "LLC", "L.C." or "LC". It is permitted to abbreviate the word "limited" as "ltd." and the word "company" as "co.". Georgia imposes a fee of $100 for the filing of articles of organization. Two business day expedited service is available for an additional $100 fee, same-day service for an additional $250 fee, and one-hour service for an additional $1000 fee.Statutory Authority & Requirements

(a) The articles of organization shall set forth the name of the limited liability company, which name must satisfy the requirements of Code Section 14-11-207.

(2) Any other provisions not inconsistent with law.
